Daily metrics routine for e-commerce
Sales volume alone says nothing. See the metrics routine that actually drives a seller's day-to-day decisions.

A good dashboard isn't the one showing the most numbers — it's the one showing the right numbers. Marketplace sellers need few metrics, but ones that are current and reliable.
Daily metrics
- Net revenue (already net of commissions and returns)
- Orders by channel
- Average ticket
- Conversion rate
Weekly metrics
Average margin, acquisition cost, and critical stock are best evaluated over 7-day windows to smooth out seasonality.
Critical stock
Set a minimum per SKU and trigger an alert before it hits zero. Running out of stock on a bestseller costs more than it looks like it does.
Avoid vanity metrics
Likes, followers, and views don't pay the bills. Keep them out of the operational dashboard.
Good decisions come from reliable numbers. Doubt about the number breeds paralysis.
